NAQEL Express Acting CEO Adnan Al Mazrooa
NAQEL Express contributed effectively to providing refrigerated warehouses for the storage and delivery of medicines to individuals, as well as transportation of samples to hospitals during the pandemic, Acting CEO Adnan Al Mazrooa told Argaam.
On the sidelines of the Global Health Exhibition held in Riyadh, Al Mazrooa pointed out that the company contracted with Nupco to store medicines in the Southern Province by providing a fully-rented warehouse in Asir over an area of 13,000 square meters (sqm).
NAQEL owns three main warehouses, one in Jeddah spanning 38,000 sqm, and another one in Riyadh over 17,000 sqm, the top executive said, adding that the company signed some memoranda of understanding with one of the medical service providers, including King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Jeddah.
Al Mazrooa said the company is considering listing on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), but the move is pending shareholders’ approval.
