Danube hypermarket affiliated to BinDawood Holding
Zayed Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, inaugurated the first Danube hypermarket in Bahrain.
The branch, located at Al Liwan Project in Bahrain’s Hamala, will be Danube’s first venture outside Saudi Arabia, according to Bahrain News Agency.
The opening brings the total number of Danube stores to 55 and BinDawood Holding Co.’s total number of branches to 82.
The branch spanning 5,000 square meters offers a variety of imported and exclusive food commodities and luxuries.
In Dec. 2020, Danube Company for Foodstuffs and Commodities (Danube), a 99%-owned subsidiary of BinDawood Holding, signed a lease agreement with a real estate development firm in Bahrain to open a Danube hypermarket.
