Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing 

Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing seeks to improve the quality of services by concluding partnerships with the private sector to leverage their technologies and expertise, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing Deputy Minister of Privatization and Financial Sustainability Hashem Alfawaz.

 

The ministry set a strategic target for 2030 to privatize 70% of the municipal services, Alfawaz added.

 

The municipal sector offers more than 200 services, while the ministry is concerned with economic development and dealing with various investors. It is also sharing risks with investors with mega projects
