Crown Prince chairs economic council meeting to review performance of Vision 2030 programs

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired on Sept. 20 a virtual meeting of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA).

The meeting reviewed several economic and development issues, including the presentation submitted by CEDA’s Strategic Management Office on the Q2 2022 performance report of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The presentation included a comprehensive review of the performance of the Vision 2030 programs and key breakthroughs in line with the third level objectives. It also cited an outlook that includes existing efforts and the main challenges and ways to overcome them.

The Council also discussed a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning regarding the economic developments locally and internationally, and a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Health regarding updates related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
