Alandalus completes 89% of The Village project, expects ops to begin in Q1 2023

Alandalus Property Co. stated that the completion rate of The Village project, formerly Al Jawhara Al Kubra, reached 89%. The structure and concrete works were 100% finalized, while electromechanical works were completed by 93%. Facade and interior works were 81%, finalized each.

As per the latest report from the developer partner, the project construction is expected to be completed in Q4 2022. Accordingly, the project will likely commence operations in the first quarter of 2023.

Moreover, the project’s cost changed by SAR 22.34 million, primarily due to the increased built-up area and the execution of additional works in the entertainment area.

The trade name of the project’s owner remained Al Jawhara Al Kubra Co., Alandlaus noted.

In February 2019, the real estate developer said it will begin construction work at Aljawhara Al Kubra project and establish a new company for the project, known as Al Jawhara Al Kubra Co., Argaam earlier reported.

The project’s construction works were expected to be completed by the end of Q4 2021, with operations to begin in the first quarter of 2022. In July 2020, Alandalus predicted to commence operations at the project in Q3 2022.
