Saudi holdings of US Treasuries rise to $121.6 bln in July

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries grew by $2.4 billion month-on-month to $121.6 billion in July, new data released by the US Treasury showed.

 

The Kingdom maintained its 16th place among the largest holders of US debt in July.

 

Saudi Arabia’s investments in US Treasuries were divided into long-term bonds worth $105.62 billion, or 87% of total treasuries, and short-term bonds worth $15.99 billion, accounting for 13%.
