Al Alamiya appoints two board members

Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Co. announced the appointment of Abdulaziz Al Balushi and Sanjay Kawatra as board members, effective immediately, the company said in a bourse filing today, Sept. 8.

 
The appointments are pending the approval of the upcoming general assembly meeting.
 
Al Balushi has more than 35 years of experience and has held many leadership positions in the financial sector in Oman and the Gulf region. He is currently the Group CEO of Oman International Development and Investment Company (OMNIVEST) since 2014.
 
 

Kawatra has more than 20 years of experience, having held senior positions in Oman and the Arab Gulf region. He is currently the CEO of Strategic Businesses of OMNIVEST since 2019.
