Al Alamiya says Riyad Bank board representative resigns

Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors approved the resignation of Abdulaziz Bin Yousef, non-executive board member, from Aug. 9, according to a bourse filing.

 

The resignation was tendered due to his resignation from Riyad Bank.

 

Based on receiving the Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) approval on Aug. 9, Al Alamiya’s board of directors approved on July 24, the appointment of Waleed Khalid Al Dhubaib as a non-executive member representing Riyad Bank and a member of the risk committee.

 

The appointment is pending the approval of the company's upcoming general assembly.

 

Al Dhubaib has more than 20 years of banking experience, during which he worked at Banque Saudi Fransi, Arab National Bank, and Al Rajhi Bank.
