Russian energy giant Gazprom said it would halt the operation of another gas turbine at the Nord Stream 1 pipeline.

The company said in a statement that stopping the turbine will reduce the daily production capacity at its Portovaya plant to 33 million cubic meters of gas per day (cmpd) from July 27.

The total production capacity of the Russian plant is more than 160 million cubic meters per day.

Gazprom" had announced the resumption of natural gas supplies to Europe, but at a pace less than the maximum capacity, after a complete halt due to reforms.

Last week, Gazprom resumed gas shipments to Europe, but below its maximum capacity after stopping the flow due to sanctions.
