Public Prosecution says 17 defendants sentenced to prison, over SAR 2.5 bln confiscated in money laundering

Investigations with an organized criminal group including 17 residents and expats proved their involvement in the crimes of concealment and money laundering, Saudi Press Agency stated, citing a source at the Public Prosecution.

 

The defendants were sentenced to imprisonment terms of up to 91 years. In addition, a total amount of more than SAR 2.5 billion was confiscated, the source added.
