The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) announced the successful completion of field data collection on June 16, according to Saudi Press Agency.

The authority then moved to the process of analysing and processing data to get the initial and comprehensive statistical data.

In a statement, GASTAT indicated that the process of analysing and processing data requires several statistical procedures, as per the applicable methodologies to ensure the quality and soundness of data.

The process includes field and phone communication with heads of families, in addition to making the self-enumeration link available for a specific category of citizens and residents to confirm and complete the data. The authority called upon citizens and residents to cooperate with representatives of the census during this stage.

Saudi Census 2022 is the Kingdom's fifth census, and it aims to cover the entire population of the state, to collect accurate statistical data that contribute to developing policies, preparing plans, and directing projects according to the needs of the population in all Saudi regions.
