Tadawul trading screen
The closing auction and trade-at-last session on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) saw today, June 16, nearly 48.81 million shares traded through 12,851 transactions, at a total value of SAR 2.6 billion.
The closing auction saw FTSE Russell implementing its changes in the market according to its quarterly indices review.

The auction period lasts 10 minutes between 3:00 pm and 3:10 pm. The trade-at-last session runs from 3:10 pm to 3:20 pm.
During the 10-minute auction period, investors can place buy and sell orders, based on which the trading system calculates a fair price per stock. This fair price serves as a reference price for the following trading day.
In the trade-at-last session, market participants can place orders only at the closing price set during the closing auction.
