Saudi Arabia’s positive results in the World Competitiveness Yearbook, in addition to other respected global reports, reflect the country’s economic performance, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing Minister of Commerce  Majed Alkassabi.

Alkassabi is also Chairman of the National Competitiveness Center (NCC).

The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 set up the integration of the government work system in order to enhance efficiency. This integration led to reforms, which improved the Kingdom’s global competitiveness and contributed to the strength and durability of the national economy, the minister said.

It also accelerated recovery from the pandemic’s effects, making Saudi Arabia one of the fastest growing countries across the world.

Saudi Arabia moved up eight notches to the 24th position in the annual world competitiveness rankings for 2022 compiled by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), compared to 32nd a year before, Argaam earlier reported.
