Nama Chemicals shareholders approve 2021 board, audit reports

Nama Chemicals Co.’s shareholders approved financial statements, as well as board and audit reports for 2021, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on June 13, according to a bourse statement.

 

Shareholders also appointed an external auditor to review and audit financial statements for Q2, Q3, and Q4 2022, as well as Q1 2023.

 

In addition, they gave the go-ahead for paying SAR 1.6 million in remuneration for board members and discharged the board of directors from liabilities for 2021.

 

They appointed Abdullah Al-Fifi as audit committee Chairman, starting from Feb. 23, 2022, until the end of the current session on Feb. 16, 2025.

 

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Salem was appointed as a board member to fill a vacant seat for the current session, starting from May 8, 2022, until Feb. 16, 2025.
