Saudi Arabia aims to attract Spanish investments to enrich the local tourism experience and benefit from Spanish companies’ know-how in the sector, Mahmoud Abdulhadi, Deputy Minister for Investment Attraction at the Ministry of Tourism, told Argaam.
Abdulhadi’s statement came on the sidelines of the Saudi-Spanish Investment Forum in Riyadh, which aims to explore cooperation opportunities and present the opportunities available in the Kingdom to Spanish investors.
Tourism is one of the Kingdom’s most promising sectors, Abdulhadi said, adding that this is also among the best industries in Spain.
Elsewhere, the top official said there are Spanish companies operating in Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom seeks to increase their number as well as deepen cooperation and boost relations with them.
The ministry is looking for quality and experience from Spanish firms, according to Abdulhadi.
