Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Co. will start tomorrow, June 2, the electronic voting on the agenda items of its ordinary general meeting (OGM) that will be held on June 6, according to a bourse filing.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agendas through the Tadawulaty system, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Shareholders will vote on the board and auditor’s reports as well as financial statements for 2021. They will also discharge board members from liability for 2021 and appoint a new auditor to review financials for Q2, Q3, Q4 2022 and Q1 2023.
