Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.
1) Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. posted a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 91.3 million for the first quarter of 2022, a jump of 58% year-on-year (YoY).
2) Eastern Province Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 29 million for Q1 2022, a drop of 52% YoY.
3) AXA Cooperative Insurance Co. reported a profit of SAR 20.3 million for the first quarter of 2022, a 45.7% YoY fall.
4) Umm Al-Qura Cement Co.’s shareholders approved the board’s recommendation to pay a 2.5% cash dividend for H2 2021.
5) Arabian Contracting Services’ (Al Arabia) shareholders approved the board of directors’ recommendation to pay cash dividend at 18.6% for 2021.
6) Bawan Co.’s shareholders authorized the board to distribute interim cash dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2022.
7) Jarir Marketing Co. sold its eight-floor building at Al Rakah Al Janoubia district, Al Khobar governorate, to one of Riyad Capital’s funds, for SAR 178 million, excluding the real estate tax.
8) Al Moammar Information Systems Co. signed a contract worth SAR 25.11 million, including VAT, with the General Office of the Presidency of State Security.
9) Brent crude fell 1.14% to reach $106.28 per barrel. WTI crude declined 1.19% to reach $104.45/bbl.
