Here’s a recap of newly-appointed governors profiles

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, issued a royal decree on May 5, which included the appointment of three governors for Taif, Al-Ahsa and Jeddah.

 

Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud Al Saud was appointed as Taif Governor. He has served as the Deputy Minister of Tourism Regional Activation since March 2021. The Prince was also the Deputy Director of Planning at the Ministry of Tourism, and Head of Transport Development at Riyadh Development Authority.

 

Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was appointed as Al-Ahsa Governor. He served as the Advisor and General Supervisor of the Housing Support Agency and Branches. He was also the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development from 2014 to 2016.

 

Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Mansour bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud was appointed as Jeddah Governor. He served as the Advisor to the Emir of Makkah and Acting Governor of Jeddah.
