10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) Jarir Marketing Co. posted a 6% year-on-year (YoY) fall in Q1 2022 net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 251.3 million.

 

2) Makkah Construction and Development Co. turned to a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 9 million for the fiscal year ended Rajab 30, 1443 (March 3, 2022).

 

3) Alinma Bank shareholders approved the board of directors’ recommendation on the payout of a 4% cash dividend, or SAR 0.40 per share, for H2 2021.

 

4) Shareholders of Najran Cement Co. approved the board’s recommendation to pay a cash dividend at 2.5% of the stock nominal value, or SAR 0.25 a share, for H2 2021.

 

5) SABIC Agri-Nutrients Co.’s shareholders approved the board recommendation on the payout of a 30% cash dividend, or SAR 3 per share, for H2 2021.

 

6Saudi Automotive Services Co.’s (SASCO) board recommended an additional 2.5% cash dividend for 2021, at SAR 0.25 per share.

 

7Red Sea International Co.’s board recommended reducing capital by 48.44% from SAR 600 million to SAR 309.39 million to write off the accumulated losses.

 

8) Wataniya Insurance Co.’s shareholders approved the board recommendation to increase capital to SAR 400 million from SAR 200 million through a rights issue.

 

9) National Company for Learning & Education (NCLE) signed a non-binding MoU with Al Salam Education and Training Co. to buy the entire stake of Al Salam’s owners.

 

10) Brent crude settled up 2.68% at $111.70 per barrel on Friday. WTI crude gained 2.59% to reach $106.95/bbl.
