Saudi Ground Services-led consortium wins SAR 342.8 mln maintenance contract for KAIA

The consortium of Saudi Ground Services Co. and Saudi Services and Operations Co. Ltd. was awarded on April 11 a contract to operate and maintain passenger bridges and apron services at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah, the Tadawul-listed firm said in a statement.

 

The five-year contract term starts 30 days after the award date, and it is valued at SAR 342.77 million (inclusive of VAT).

 

Saudi Ground Services expects to sign the contract on May 19.

 

The financial impact is expected to start from Q2 2022, the statement noted, adding that Saudi Ground Services has a 51% share in the consortium.

 

There are no related parties to the contract.
