Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia grew by 18% to SAR 2.4216 trillion in 2021, based on the latest official data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

When compared to the third quarter of 2021, foreign investments rose 2%, or SAR 44.1 billion, in Q4 2021.

Foreign direct investments (FDI) accounted for 40% of total foreign investments in the Kingdom, equivalent to SAR 978.98 billion.

 

Portfolio investments hit SAR 796.8 billion, while other investments stood at SAR 645.8 billion.
