Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co.’s (GO) board of directors appointed Meshaal bin Omeriah as a new board member starting from April 7, 2022, until the end of the current board term on Oct. 25, 2023, according to a bourse filing.
Omeriah will replace non-executive board member, Omar Subhi Abdul Karim Shanaa, who resigned on Oct. 25, 2021, according to a bourse filing.
Omeriah has over 26 years of experience in the field of corporate strategy, corporate governance, regulatory development, corporate compliance, corporate acquisition, business development, risk management, internal control, financial operations, financial engineering and restructuring, investment, capital, finance and consultancy. He also holds a BA in accounting from King Saud University.
The appointment is pending the approval of the upcoming general meeting, the statement added.
