Scientific & Medical Equipment subsidiary gets SFDA license to manufacture new product

Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co.’s subsidiary, NABD Medical Industries, obtained a license from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) to start manufacturing a new product - Coronary Catheter Balloon, the company said in a filing to Tadawul today, March 27.

 

This is the first such Saudi product in the Gulf and MENA region, in line with the firm’s strategic plan and its subsidiaries, in addition to the Vision 2030 to develop all aspects of the medical manufacturing sector within the Kingdom.

 

NABD will start the marketing process for the new product and expects the financial impact in 2023, the statement noted.
