A petroleum product distribution plant, north of Jeddah, and Al-Mukhtara plant in Jazan were attacked today, March 25, with rocket-propelled grenades, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing an official source at the Ministry of Energy.
The attacks, however, caused no casualties, the source added, condemning such sabotage attacks that target vital facilities and civilian objects in different regions of the Kingdom.
The source reiterated that the Kingdom will not bear any responsibility for any shortage of oil supplies to global markets, in light of the continuous sabotage attacks on its oil facilities by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia.
Such terrorist acts do not only target the Kingdom, but also aim to destabilize the security and stability of the world’s energy supplies, the source noted.
