Tawfig Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah said that studies are still on to determine the number of pilgrims for this year, Al Arabiya TV reported.
The studies are being held in conjugation with the health sector.
This comes to ensure the safety of Hajj and pilgrims, the minister said, stressing the Kingdom's keenness towards Hajj and people’s safety.
Al-Rabiah pointed out that Umrah is available to everyone at full capacity, explaining that the “Eatmarna” app is relied on to regulate the mechanism of pilgrims’ entry, not for prayers, to enhance the experience and avoid congestion.
