Saudi holdings of US Treasuries rise to $119.4 bln in January

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries reached $119.4 billion in January, up $0.4 billion month-on-month, new data released by the US Treasury showed.

 

The Kingdom maintained its ranking at the 17th place among the largest holders of US debt in January.

 

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries were distributed among long-term bonds worth $100.98 billion, representing 85% of the total, and short-term bonds worth $18.42 billion, accounting for 15%.
