The applications received via e-platform “Ehkaam” reached more than 1.2 million across the Kingdom, said Ihsan Bafakih, Governor of State Properties General Authority (SPGA).

The top official told Al-Ekhbariya TV that extending the period of receiving applications from citizens came upon the request of those who were late or unable to complete their application files.

He added that some controls were amended upon a thorough study for the problems and challenges facing applications submitted to the authority, adding that the amendment request was referred to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, for approval.

King Salman issued an approval, on March 14, on extending the period of receiving ownership applications for one year, starting from Jumada Al-Awal 5, 1443.

In December 2020, SPGA launched its e-platform “Ehkaam” to receive property ownership applications, Argaam reported.
