Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense


Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman inaugurated, on March 6, the first World Defense Show 2022 (WDS) in Riyadh, on behalf of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

 

WDS is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) and will run for four days until March 9, Saudi Press Agency reported. 

 

The event includes over 590 global companies, representing 42 countries, with the participation of a number of national government agencies in the defense, military and security sectors.

 

The Crown Prince was briefed on the virtual command and control center, which is equipped with the latest systems and technologies that simulate the future of command-and-control centers produced by major international defense companies.
