Gulf markets end lower on Russia-Ukraine conflict

The Gulf markets witnessed a collective decline today, Feb 24, with the escalation of tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin today announced a military operation in Ukraine to defend separatists in the east of the country, after indicating that they had been subject to genocide.

 

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) and Dubai Financial Market (DFM) were the biggest losers among peers, ending 1.8% lower each.
