Saudi Transport and Investment Co. (Mubarrad), which is owned by Batic Investments and Logistics Co., said that its fleet of refrigeration trucks has 1,000 containers, adding that more 44 containers will join the fleet by mid-2022.

The operating contracts of the fleet were valued at over SAR 68 million in 2021, the company told Argaam, noting that it expects more than SAR 96 million worth of deals this year.

Mubarrad also cited higher demand for refrigerated transport and dry bulk, adding this encourages the company to pursue expansions and add new containers after analyzing the fleet performance in terms of productivity, fuel and maintenance cost control and all operating expenses.
