The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) employed more than 277,000 youth in the private sector during 2021, General Manager Turki Al-Jawini said on the sidelines of the General Authority for Military Industries' (GAMI) launch of the Human Capital Strategy.

Hadaf’s employment levels hit record highs last year, and the fund eyes higher employment rates in the coming years.

As part of its recently-updated strategy that focuses on job sustainability and impact measurement, Hadaf set clear goals, which largely intersect with GAMI’s strategy, Al-Jawini explained.

The first goal focuses on supporting human capital development in Saudi Arabia in line with the labor market needs. The second one is related to enhancing balance between supply and demand, he concluded.
