Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that energy security is essential for economic growth and prosperity, and to tackle climate change challenges, to achieve a smooth transition of energy.

 

Without energy security, there will be no smooth energy transition, he said at the Global Tech Conference (LEAP 22), noting that addressing climate change requires a lot of funding, investment and programs.

 

Without energy security, other economic foundations, including the growth of the global economy and economic prosperity that are essential to addressing the climate change crisis, cannot be maintained, the minister added.
