One of PureGym branches
Ahmed Al Bawardi, CEO of Tanami Arabia Co. and Chairman of Ektimal Sports Co. - the owner of franchise rights for sports club PureGym - said that PureGym has ambitious expansion plans to open 40 sports clubs in the main cities within the Kingdom by the end of 2025.
He told Argaam over a phone call that PureGym adopts an economic cost model for subscribing to its clubs and relies on a flexible system aimed at not weighing on the purchasing and financial powers of the subscribers.
The current number of branches is four, including three for women. The company seeks to open eight branches in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar in 2022.
Al Bawardi highlighted the franchise relationship between Tanami Arabia and PureGym, the UK-based fitness brand that was launched in the second quarter of 2020, with an exclusive franchise scope for a company in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
