Saudi Aramco President and CEO, Amin Nasser, said that demand for crude oil is likely to continue, as it is nearing pre-pandemic levels.

The sale of assets that the company may conduct will not be tied to crude prices, Nasser said on the sidelines of the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) Forum and Exhibition.

The IKTVA program helped establish a competitive industrial base, resulting in exports to more than 40 countries. Meanwhile, local content requirements embedded in thousands of contracts contributed more than $100 billion to the national economy.

At the same time, the program attracted more than 540 investments to Saudi Arabia from 35 countries, Nasser added.
