Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, asked not to be biased and selective when using energy resources.

“This decision must be left to each country to make based on its natural resources and capabilities,” Prince Abdulaziz said during his participation at the World Economic Forum Davos, as quoted by the Ministry of Energy’s Twitter account.

“We have to ask ourselves frankly whether we are really trying to reduce emissions of all greenhouse gases, or is that just an excuse to demand the elimination of hydrocarbons and fossil fuels,” the minister noted.

He further noted that there are those who do not like to see Saudi Arabia dominant in the field of green hydrogen, but it will be, and has the potential to have the lowest cost of production.
