REGA corrects 381,000 uncompliant ads; classifies 1,032 real estate entities in 2021

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) corrected 380,690 of the 383,460 real estate announcements posted in 2021, accounting for 3.5% of the more than 11 million real estate ads it has monitored since the launch of real estate advertising controls and licensing standards for online real estate platforms.

 

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the authority's Partner Service Center carried out 1,375 real estate reports from beneficiaries and real estate employees.

 

REGA explained that the controls and standards contributed to the governance of the real estate sector, and increased the transparency of real estate transactions, in order to preserve the rights of its clients.

 

It licensed 17 electronic real estate platforms since the launch of controls and standards, after fulfilling the licensing requirements, and classified 1,032 real estate establishments.

 

The authority also carried out 19,700 applications to serve a real estate advertiser, of which 2,866 for were establishments, while the largest share was for retail clients at 16,900.

 

The number of beneficiaries in the “AQARI” service reached 30,000, and registered real estate establishments 3,367, with 8,997 electronic authorizations recorded.

 

The number of real estate disputes pending at the Saudi Real Estate Arbitration stood at 492.
