Tadawul delists shares of AlAhli Takaful

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) delisted AlAhli Takaful Co.’s shares at the close of trading on Jan. 13, 2022. 

 

In a separate bourse statement, the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) increased the number of securities for Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co., after its merger with AlAhli Takaful through exchanging securities, in the center’s accounts of eligible securities’ holders at Arabian Shield today, Jan. 16. 

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Arabian Shield said the merger with AlAhli Takaful took effect on Jan. 12, pursuant to which all the assets and liabilities of the latter will be transferred to Arabian Shield.

 

AlAhli Takaful also announced that the creditor objection period expired on Jan. 11, and that it had not received any objections from its creditors during that period
