Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.
1) Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) announced that it received a notification of awarding a project with the Eastern Province Municipality for the public bus transport project in Dammam and Al-Qatif governorate, for a period of five years.
2) The board of directors of Arabian Centres Co. approved appointing Mohamed Rafic Mourad as the Managing Director, starting from Jan. 11, 2022.
3) Saudi National Bank launched the sale of dollar-denominated Sukuk through a special purpose entity and is offered to eligible local and international investors.
4) Arabian Shield Insurance Co. said the merger with AlAhli Takaful Co. (ATC) took effect, pursuant to which all the assets and liabilities of ATC will be transferred to Arabian Shield.
5) Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance Co. received the Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) approval to appoint Abdulaziz Bin Hasan (independent member) as Chairman for the new term started Nov. 16, 2021.
6) Brent crude on Thursday declined 16 cents to reach $84.51 per barrel. WTI crude also decreased 12 cents to reach $82.52/bbl.
