1) Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. finalized the installation of all machines and trial operations, and launched operations at its Kuwait-based Al-Juthoor Paper Tissue Manufacturing Plant as power was connected.
2) AlAhli Takaful Co. announced that the creditor objection period on the merger with Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. expired on Jan. 11.
3) National Metal Manufacturing and Casting Co. (Maadaniyah) will pay SAR 26.3 million worth of refunds to the rights holders who did not subscribe to new shares today, Jan. 12.
4) Bank AlJazira's board of directors reappointed Tarek Othman AlKasabi as Chairman and Abdulmajeed Ibrahim AlSultan as Deputy Chairman.
5) AlJazira Takaful Taawuni Co. obtained the Council of Health Insurance’s (CCHI) approval for the qualification renewal through the electronic services portal.
6) Brent crude on Wednesday declined 2 cents to reach $83.70 per barrel while WTI crude increased 9 cents to reach $81.31/bbl.
