9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Saudi National Bank (SNB) announced its plan to issue dollar-denominated Sukuk under its international Sukuk program launched on Nov. 15, 2021.

 

2) United Electronics Co. (eXtra) reported an estimated net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 396.7 million for 2021.

 

3) Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co.'s board of directors decided to amend the previous recommendation on capital reduction, to be followed by capital increase.

 

4) Shareholders of Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. approved merger with Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co.

 

5) Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) submitted its capital cut file and application to increase capital by offering a rights issue for approval to the Capital Market Authority (CMA).

 

6) Shareholders of National Company for Learning & Education approved the board's recommendation on paying a cash dividend at 8% of capital, or SAR 0.80 a share, totaling SAR 34.4 million, for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 2021.

 

7) Saudi Airlines Catering Co.’s shareholders elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term, starting on Jan. 26, 2022.

 

8) Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co. received an extension from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regarding its non-objection to extend the approval previously granted to the company to increase capital by SAR 265 million for a period of six months from the date of the letter.

 

9) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 56 cents to reach $81.43 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 62 cents to reach $78.850/bbl.
