Saudi Chemical reappoints Fahad Al-Jarbou as board chairman

Saudi Chemical Holding Co.’s (SSHC) board of directors reappointed Fahad Al-Jarbou (non-executive) as Chairman and Obaid Al Rasheed (non-executive) as Deputy Chairman.

Thamer Mohammed Al Muhaid (executive member) was also named as the company’s Managing Director, SSHC said in a statement to Tadawul.

The board of directors also approved the formation of the executive committee, the nomination and remuneration committee, and the risk and governance committee.

Khaled Al-Bawardi was named as the new Board Secretary.

The representatives of the company for all purposes related to the application of laws and regulations at the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) were also appointed.

Meanwhile, the audit committee was formed for the three-year term starting on Jan. 1, 2022, based on the decisions of the ordinary general assembly meeting held on Sept. 8.

The new audit committee members are Fawaz Mohammed Al Fawaz as Chairman, in addition to Abdulwahhab Abed, Abdullah Al-Mehthil and Khalid Al-Hoshan.
