Saudi bank loans to public, private sectors rise 16% to SAR 2.117 trln in November

Saudi bank loans granted to the public and private sectors increased 16% by the end of November to SAR 2.117 trillion, compared to SAR 1.832 trillion a year earlier, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Private sector lending also rose 15% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.023 trillion for the same month.

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to public non-financial institutions amounted to about SAR 94.6 billion at the end of November, an increase of 22%, compared to the same period in 2020.
