Saudi Cabinet says continues fulfilling citizen aspirations, improving quality of life

The Saudi Cabinet, in a meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today, Dec. 28, confirmed its keenness to protect and enhance the gains, and to continue utilizing all the country's resources and energies to achieve the goals and aspirations of citizens, especially the continuous improvement in the quality of life, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The Cabinet stressed the development of facilities and services as well as the educational environment, in addition to supporting the housing plans, as well as increasing the investment and employment opportunities.

 

During the meeting, the Cabinet also highlighted the importance of optimally using the available resources and raising the levels of transparency and efficiency of government spending to promote growth and development rates.

 

Earlier this month, the Saudi government approved 2022 budget, with estimated public revenue of SAR 1.045 trillion and expenditures at SAR 955 billion, which means an estimated surplus of around SAR 90 billion.
