Tanmiah shareholders approve amending articles of association, appointing board member

Tanmiah Food Co.'s shareholders approved amending articles of association during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Dec. 21, according to a bourse filing.

The articles are related to transformation, company's name, shareholders' register, company management, etc.

Furthermore, shareholders approved appointing Ahmed Sharaf Osilan as an executive board member, effective Nov. 25, in place of board member Mohammed Sajid Saeed.

Meanwhile, they delegated the authority of the ordinary general assembly to the board of directors with the authorization contained in Paragraph (1) of Article 71 of the Companies Law, for a period of one year from the date of approval of the general assembly or until the end of the delegated board of directors session, whichever is earlier.
