Bahri says Ahmed Al-Subaey to replace Abdullah Aldubaikhi as CEO from April 2022

National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia’s (Bahri) board of directors accepted today, Dec. 19, the resignation of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Ali Aldubaikhi, effective as of April 1, 2022, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Aldubaikhi submitted his resignation to pursue his career elsewhere.

 

The board also approved the appointment of board member Ahmed Ali Al-Subaey as the CEO, effective as of April 1, 2022 and amended his membership status to be an executive member as of that date, the statement added.

 

Al-Subaey holds a BSc and Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona, US, and an executive MBA from Stanford University, US. He was the CEO of S-Oil in South Korea and has held various leading roles in Saudi Aramco, the most recent was the Vice President for Marketing, Sales and Supply Planning.
