Saudi Arabia announced today, Nov. 25, allowing direct entry of travelers from six countries without the need to spend 14 days before arriving in the country. These countries are Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt and India.

The decision will come into effect at 1:00 am on Wednesday, Dec. 1, according to the Ministry of Interior.

Institutional quarantine measures will apply to those travelers for five days regardless of their vaccination status outside the Kingdom. The exceptions issued for some categories will remain in effect.

Moreover, the Ministry of Interior affirmed the importance of applying the approved precautionary measures, adding that all measures are subject to evaluation by the local competent authorities.

Saudi Arabia earlier suspended temporarily entry into the Kingdom for all guests coming or passing from Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt and India. The same measures also applied to those who are coming from other countries if they have passed through any of the aforementioned countries during 14 days preceding their entry to the Kingdom.
