Abdul Rahman Al-Hussain, spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce
Saudi Arabia’s National Program for Combating Commercial Concealment launched new corrective phase, in which 20 oversight bodies will use artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis techniques to detect violations, Abdul Rahman Al-Hussain, spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce said on his official Twitter account.
The anti-cover-up punitive measures are currently far different from the previously used inspection campaigns and reports, said Al-Hussain.
The new measures will help data linkage with 20 government entities to identify records, inspect violations and apply penalties.
