Alkhorayef Water board approves opening of branch in Baghdad

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co.’s (AWPT) board of directors approved, on Nov. 4, the opening of a branch in Baghdad in the Republic of Iraq, according to a bourse filing.

 

The company aims to invest and provide project, maintenance and operation services in the water and wastewater sector.

 

The step comes in line with the company's strategy to expand its business scope inside and outside the Saudi market.

 

There are no related parties, the statement noted.
