Ministry of Industry issues 669 industrial licenses worth SAR 74 bln YTD

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 669 new industrial licenses at a total investment of SAR 74 billion year-to-date (YTD), Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Minister Bandar Alkhorayef.

 

A total of 477 factories launched operations, Alkhorayef said in his speech at the Marketing Forum held in Riyadh.

 

He indicated that the industrial sector provided more than 31,000 job opportunities over the first 10 months of 2021, of which 10,951 were for Saudis.
