Al Othaim shareholders elect board members for new term

Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co.’s (Al Othaim) shareholders elected new board of directors for the three-year term, starting Oct. 3, 2021, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Sept. 22, according to a bourse statement.

 

Elected members include Abdullah Saleh Al Othaim, Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Othaim, Bandar Nasser Al Tamimi, Raed Abdullah Al Hogail, Abdulkarim Hamad Al Nujaidi, Saad Ibrahim Al Moshawah, Bader Hamed Al Ujan, Mohammed Hassan Al Shuhail, and Muwaffaq Mansour Jamal.

 

During the EGM, shareholders also approved the formation of the new audit committee for the same term, and defined its duties, charter and remuneration for the members.

 

Audit committee members are Raed Abdullah Alhogail, Mohammed Mansour Al-Mousa, and Abdullah Jaber Alfifi.

 

Shareholders also approved amendment to a number of articles of the company’s bylaws related to management, board, and audit committee, among others.
